Applicants must provide the following:
- completed application with $40 nonrefundable application fee
- official transcripts from all postsecondary education reflecting a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- a writing sample, minimum 500 words, describing the applicant's background, motivation for entering the program, a possible area of interest for the thesis topic, and postgraduate plans
- satisfactory GRE score
- two professional letters of recommendation
- interview with a program representative
