Library Technology

Public Computers
  • Public computers with Microsoft Office 2010, photo-editor software, multiple Internet browsers, audio/video software, DVD/CD-burning software, and tools to access all of the library's electronic resources.
  • A low-vision workstation equipped with a Braille keyboard, screen reader software, a magnifier, and a scanner.
  • 7 netbooks are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.


Public Printing and Copying
  • Printing is available on all public computers.
  • Photocopiers are available on the first floor, the lower level, and at the Ballston Center Library Extension (requires purchased Debitek card).
  • A microfiche/flim reader is available on the lower level.


Other Equipment
  • Scanners are available in the reference area.
  • TVs equipped with VCR/DVDs are available on the lower level and at the Ballston Center Library Extension.  
  • Wireless access is available throughout the Reinsch Library building and at the Ballston Center Library Extension.
  • Power strips, USB drives, and iPhone 4 chargers are available for check out at the circulation desk.
