Chi Sigma Iota honor society, are sponsoring this professional development program presented by the Center for Hope of NOVA.
Participants can earn 6 NBCC CEUs for this Eating Disorders 101 presentation. Symptoms, diagnostic requirements, and phases of treatment will be covered.
Sessions include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with Heather Baker, LCSW
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with Alicia Ayvas, LCSW
- Family-based Therapy (Maudsley Approach) with Adrianna Marti, MFT
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing with Michelle Market, LPC
- Yoga, Art Therapy and Equine/Gestalt Treatment with program therapists
- Nutrition with Vanessa Terry-Venzke, dietician
- Marymount Counseling Students’ Poster PresentationsAdmission: Free for Marymount students, and $50 for non-students
Parking: There is limited parking. Please consider taking public transportation. Marymount's Ballston Center (N. Glebe and Fairfax Drive) is two blocks from the Ballston-MU Metro. If you drive, please obtain a parking pass in the lobby to display in you vehicle.
